    Purchasing Manager

     

    We are seeking a detail oriented, self-motivated, and well-organized individual to join our team. At Triumvirate, we have a strong commitment to individual growth, in-depth training, and professional development. The Purchasing Manager will interface with various departments and regional locations, develop and manage the purchase order process and standards, and negotiate and maintain supplier and vendor agreements. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and results-driven with a passion to make an immediate impact.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Oversight and management of Triumvirate’s purchase order process
    • Maintain and review existing agreements with suppliers, transporters and other vendors currently providing Triumvirate with goods and/or services
    • Negotiate best vendor terms, pricing and delivery to drive down overall COGs expenditures
    • Coordinates bid specification preparation, secures bids/proposals, reviews requisitions and makes awards
    • Develop training programs, guidelines and appropriate tools to train employees to documented standards and best practices
    • Create purchasing metrics, KPIs, and standard reports to be utilized to drive employee accountability
    • Recommends new or revised purchasing procedures
    • Develop and mentor purchasing analysts and other authorized buyers

     

    Qualifications

    • 5-10 years of purchasing/procurement or supply chain experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Math, or another related field
    • Demonstrated success at building and maintaining efficient and effective vendor relationships
    • Creative problem solver, adaptable to change and a passion to drive change
    • Ability to work with functional groups and different level of employees throughout the organization to effectively and professionally achieve results
    • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively
    • Strong organizational and follow-up skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment
