Essential responsibilities and duties include:


The software developer should be competent to work on general application programming activities. Your work assignments will generally be well-defined and you will be provided with the guidance and domain knowledge to choose the best techniques to meet your objectives. You will work under direct supervision in the design, development, testing of maintenance items for systems of moderate size/complexity with emphasis on fast turn-around. You must be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and able to work on multiple projects at the same time. You must be able to reprioritize and shift gears as necessary to deliver critical functionality in time.


Other responsibilities:

  • Create business intelligence tools and reports, such as physical data models and dimensional analyses.

  • Design models for the data warehouse or data mart (data structure, storage, and integration).

  • Design, code, test, and optimize SQL queries to provide information to users.

  • Write ETL’s to move data from operational databases to Data Warehouse.

  • Complete assigned tasks as directed in a timely manner using good object-oriented coding practices and standards.

  • Follow the established standards, patterns and process.

  • Not afraid to seek guidance when needed to make good decisions.


Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient in using standard development tools: Visual Studio 2008 and higher.
  • Proficient in .NET, C#, LINQ, ASP.NET, MVC 2.0+, Web Services.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Additional languages such as Objective-C and Java is a plus.
  • Proficient with web technologies: HTML/CSS, XML, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX.
  • Knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005+ and SQL Server Reporting tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS/CIS or a related discipline preferred.
  • Some object-oriented programming work using C# with the .NET Framework.
  • Experience with software architectures such as MVC.
  • Experience working with relational databases such as MS SQL Server/T-SQL is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
