Perimeter Air Monitoring
Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a Business Development Manager/Director to create opportunities of Perimeter Air Monitoring in the construction, remediation, and infrastructure markets. This individual will have a strong understanding of construction and remediation operations, and the environmental and worker safety challenges associated with these projects The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 to 5+ years of experience of direct selling experience in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) markets. This position reports to the Managing Director of Professional Services with a national area of responsibility.
Triumvirate, with its recent acquisition of Emilcott Environmental and its proprietary perimeter air monitoring, is well positioned to provide these markets with a remote, real-time monitoring of airborne contaminants with a comprehensive database and user interface. The system is designed to integrate seamlessly with the Perimeter Air Monitoring Plan (PAMP), uses weather parameters and automated alerts to keep your site and project management to quickly assess and mitigate exceedances, and automates the report process reducing man hours. As an added service, Triumvirate’s Health and Safety Officers (HSO’s) are trained to operate these monitoring stations.
Essential responsibilities and duties include:
- Create client connections, open doors, and close business with prospects on a daily basis
- Sell consulting, engineering and staff augmentation and specific service lines associated with Triumvirate Professional Services Divisions
- Active participant in industry events, representing Triumvirate as a leader in construction, remediation, and related services.
- Be a thought leader and follow market developments; capture current trends and thinking of existing clients and convert into actionable solutions for the organization, search for new product lines, and other revenue enhancing initiatives
- Leverage TEI’s internal CRM system
- Maintain a high level of deal flow of sales activity
- Become familiar with technical, customer service, and business components of environmental services

Required qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years previous sales experience
- Direct selling experience in the AEC market and an understanding of trends and key players, specifically knowledge of the construction (commercial, infrastructure) and remediation markets and activities.
- BS in Business or Marketing; or a BS in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology or equivalent required
- Familiarity with consultative sales techniques
- Be a self-starter, have a sense of urgency to close business, and a desire to constantly improve
- Strong knowledge of the environmental services field
- A deep understanding of the business of consulting: market, financial, operational, and organizational constructs
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of clients and Triumvirate staff
- Valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle record
