Content Marketing Specialist


Are you a content creator who is both creative and analytical? Are you interested in developing marketing messaging for innovative environmental solutions and sustainable products? 


Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a high-energy marketing communications professional to join our dynamic marketing team! The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing a variety of marketing assets for the Life Sciences, Healthcare, Higher Education, and Industrial markets, as well as executing compelling campaigns to generate leads for our sustainable recycled plastic lumber product line.


Familiar with writing for the web, email marketing, and blog strategy, this individual will produce high-quality content to increase brand awareness and contribute to inbound lead generation.


Objectives & Responsibilities

  • Write, edit, and promote informative and engaging content, including blog posts, emails, whitepapers, case studies, website pages, infographics, and video scripts
  • Use marketing automation software to design, execute, and track high-impact email marketing campaigns
  • Develop sales enablement tools, including digital and print brochures, customer price sheets, PowerPoint presentations, and photo compilations
  • Develop retailer and distributor merchandising tools, such as display boards, samples, posters, and 3D models, for our recycled plastic lumber product line
  • Engage with our sales team, internal service leaders and subject matter experts, and customers to understand client needs, uncover gaps in our existing assets, and identify relevant topics for new content
  • Manage content projects from start to finish — from topic selection to content development to quality reviews of the final product to promotional messaging
  • Execute service-line marketing initiatives, including program and product launches
  • Manage our tradeshow and conference sponsorships
  • Update website content and recommend and implement site improvements
  • Work with outside vendors, agencies, and consultants as necessary
  • Provide other general marketing program management support as needed

Desired Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 3 years of content creation or content marketing, ideally B2B
  • BA or BS in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or other relevant discipline
  • Experience writing, editing, and creating various types of long- and short-form content, such as whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, emails, website pages, and landing pages
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, research, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and meet deadlines
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Track record of designing and executing high-impact digital marketing initiatives and campaigns
  • Interest in building a deep understanding of our technical services, and the ability to translate that knowledge into relevant and valuable content
  • Successful experience with many or all of the following:
    • HubSpot, Eloqua, or other marketing automation systems
    • Oracle CX Sales, Salesforce, or other CRMs
    • Developing email marketing campaigns
    • Writing for SEO
    • Creating calls-to-action and landing pages that drive conversion
    • Managing social media
    • Blogging
    • Marketing measurement & analytics
  • Assertive and confident working with technical subject matter experts
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Graphic design for digital and print content a plus
  • Video production and/or video editing a plus
  • Experience marketing environmental or consulting services to Healthcare, Life Sciences, Higher Education, or Industrial markets a plus
  • Experience with large retailers and/or B2B distributors a plus
