Essential responsibilities and duties include: - Manage hazardous and chemical waste programs for clients onsite following Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and other state and federal government agencies’ regulations - Execute onsite support services for the entire lifecycle of a hazardous materials management programs at client sites by performing chemical inventories, segregating chemicals, and shipping hazardous waste off-site - Characterize, consolidate, pack, and ship hazardous waste for clients per RCRA and DOT regulations - Train clients on proper chemical safety and hazardous waste management - Perform and document environmental health and safety audits for clients in their facilities and laboratories using Triumvirate’s ADVISE program • Develop an understanding of OSHA regulations as well as Triumvirate’s Health and Safety Practices - Respond to chemical spill emergencies by managing the containment, clean up, and disposal of hazardous materials Upon completion of emergency response (ER) training, all Environmental Specialists will be on a rotating ER team; requirements include being oncall 24 hours each day for one week out of each month.     Senior EHS Consultant - Industrial Hygiene   Emilcott Associates, a Triumvirate Environmental company seeks a Senior Environmental Health & Safety Consultant to join our team of IH and Safety professionals. This individual will have 3-5 years of experience in the EHS space, having worked for multiple organizations either in industry, regulatory agencies, or other consulting firms. Classic industrial hygiene experience is mandatory, including indoor air quality, mold, asbestos, lead and radon.   Responsibilities: - Provide EHS support and oversee the delivery of multiple technical projects simultaneously to a diverse client base, including large manufacturing, industrial, and commercial facilities - Perform industrial hygiene (IH) surveys and audits - Conduct indoor air quality (IAQ) and noise assessments; asbestos-containing building material (ACBM), lead-based paint (LBP), and mold surveys and investigations - Analyze laboratory and engineering data - Additional tasks as needed Requirements: - Possess a BS or BA in a STEM field, preferable Chemistry   - 3-5 years of experience in the areas of industrial hygiene and occupational safety - Possess excellent verbal and technical communication skills - Produce clear, concise, and grammatically correct reports, procedures, correspondence, and other documentation - Maintain a positive attitude under demanding conditions and aggressive work schedules.     Entry level EHS Consultant - Safety Data Sheets Author   This EHS Consultant is responsible for providing technical support to a global pharmaceutical company.
