  Environmental Program Manager   Essential responsibilities and duties include: - Manage a team of Environmental professionals at a large Life Science client site in Thousand Oaks, CA - Training staff on RCRA, DOT, OSHA, and State regulations as well as Disposal Facility standard operating procedures - Assisting in the management of the Waste Technician team. - Coordinating site specific team meetings to ensure we are delivering the services promised within each Master Services Agreement (i.e. contract) - Developing work schedules for waste pickups and supply deliveries - Creating paperwork and oversight of shipments - Completing QA/QC of relevant paperwork to ensure compliance with all State and Federal regulations (shipping documents, LDRs, Profiles, Packing slips) - When applicable, performing remote QA/QC for relevant field work performed by other staff members - Scoping and assisting in the creation of proposals for onsite work (i.e. lab packs, misc. disposal) - Assisting with invoice review to ensure compliance with applicable contracts when necessary - Performing external trainings for clients - Performing site audits to review compliance (i.e. OSHA, RCRA, DOT) of work performed by Triumvirate Team members - Managing of all onsite Health and Safety Plans to ensure all employees are trained on workplace hazards, engineering controls, PPE and applicable emergency procedures. - Being an outspoken leader who is a key player in building new accounts and maintaining current relationships. - Developing skills and job competencies for staff reporting to specific client locations for Onsite Support Services.   Radiation Safety Technician   Triumvirate Environmental, the fastest growing environmental services firm in North America is looking for an Environmental Technician to join our team. Responsibilities: - Manage radiation waste disposal services   - Manage radioactive waste onsite prior to shipment in accordance to the site radiation license  - Perform & document routine radiation and contamination surveys  - Perform & document termination surveys for radiation and contamination  - Perform calibration services for survey meters, monitoring equipment used for detecting contamination  - Provide/coordinate off site calibration of radioactive monitoring equipment - Radioactive spill or radiological incident response  - Receive and check in all radioactive packages in accordance with the site license and Mass Department of Public Health (“MDPH”) regulation  - Perform surveys of new radioactive packages at the site and maintain appropriate documents - Assist in the distribution and collection of personal dosimeters  - Assist RSO in radiation safety training upon request  - Conduct an inventory of all sealed sources including irradiator, check sources, and liquid scintillation counters  - Assist RSO in conducting quarterly inventory of radioactive material - Assist radiation safety staff with conducting irradiations  - Complete MDPH Annual Waste Survey  - Assist RSO in air effluent sampling  - File and manage radiation program documentation - Assist in the packaging, shipping, and transportation of radioactive materials Required qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent required. - Basic knowledge of, or interest in, hazardous waste field. - Self-motivated person with the desire to learn. - Successful completion of OSHA/ DOT physical examination which includes drug and alcohol screening. - This is a Safety Sensitive Position. The ideal candidate will have the following training and certification.
